Background

All the items for sale on this site are designed and made by me. 

I set up this little shop as a hobby, because I cannot keep all the things that I knit - there simply isn't enough room in my home! 

The site is currently very small but I have started to add some new items and more will follow.  See the Latest news page to check on my progress and upcoming products - plus details of any craft fairs I will be attending.

Unfortunately, I can only accept orders from the UK from this website.  If you would like to purchase something for International Delivery, please use my etsy shop - clairetheknitter.  Apologies for the inconvenience.

Safety and Quality

I only use toy stuffing that is non-allergenic, washable and meets appropriate standards (Fire Safety Standard: BS 5852, Cleanliness: BS 1425, Suitable for BS 5665 and European Standard  EN71).

My home is a smoke-free environment.

I would advise that some of my products are quite small items and none are designed to be toys.  They should therefore not be treated as such and are not suitable for small children.
